Warranty and Returns Policy


If a product is not listed below then there may be no warranty implied (apart from statutory requirements). If you cannot see your product or product range listed below and have a question regarding warranty please contact us.
 

Warranty information by brand / product:

- Saratoga Fishing Rods/Reels : 12 months replacement warranty
- Tica Spinning/Light game reels : 3 years 'stress less' warranty
- Tica big game reels : 12 months back to base warranty
- Tica Tackle Management systems : 12 months back to base warranty
- Tackle (lures, line, hooks, floats etc) : Dead on Arrival Tacklemania warranty only.
 

Please be aware that any unauthorised repairs carried out on any of our products will result in the Warranty being voided.

We will not accept any goods for return that do not have a valid Return Authorisation Number. All Return Authorisation Numbers are valid for 14 days from date of issue for Australian customers and 30 days for International customers, so we must receive the goods into our warehouse within this period.

A Return Authorisation Number does not guarantee either a refund or replacement. When issued with a Return Authorisation Number, you will also be provided with details of how to return your goods. You will then be contacted by a Tacklemania representative after your returned item has been reviewed.

All goods returned must be suitably packaged. We cannot accept responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit back to us.

Shipping costs for original purchases are non-refundable, regardless of reason for return.

 

VALID REASONS FOR RETURN:

- Return of Wrongly Received Goods
- Return of Goods Damaged in Transit
- Return of Faulty Goods within the Warranty Period
- Return of Unwanted Goods

 

Wrongly Received Goods, Goods Damaged In Transit (DOA)

If you have received an incorrect item please request a Return Authorisation form within 7 days of receipt of the item to organise an exchange.

After receipt of a Return Authorisation request, and subsequent review, a Tacklemania representative will contact you with a Return Authorisation Number and relevant details for the return of the goods.

Please note that replacements are not given for damaged packaging, only where the goods are damaged. All items must be deemed damaged by a member of our service department prior to replacement. Once your item has been inspected, you will be contacted by a Tacklemania representative. If no damage is found, return of the product will be at the customers expense. If you do not choose to have the item exchanged and request a refund, a 20% restocking fee will be charged on all saleable returns.

 

Return Of Faulty Goods Within Warranty Period

If you receive an item that has a manufacturing defect only upon arrival, or if it fails within the specified warranty period, please submit the Return Authorisation Request as soon as the defect is identified. A Tacklemania representative will contact you with a Return Authorisation Number and relevant details for the return of the goods.

Costs associated with the return of goods are the responsibility of the customer.

If a fault is not reported to us within the specified warranty period, we will not be responsible for refund or replacement of that item.

All items must be deemed faulty by a member of our service department to be covered by warranty. Once your item has been inspected, you will be contacted by a Tacklemania representative. Faults caused by misuse, or normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty. If an item is found to be faulty for the above reasons, it will be returned to the customer and no replacement item will be given. If no fault is found, return of the product will be at the customers expense. If you do not choose to have the item returned and request a refund, a 20% restocking fee will be charged on all saleable returns.

 

Return Of Unwanted Goods

The Return Authorisation Request must be submitted within 7 days of receipt of the item. Costs associated with the return of unwanted goods are the responsibility of the customer.

All goods must be returned unused, in the original packaging, and in saleable condition.

A 20% restocking fee applies to unwanted goods returned for a refund. Original shipping costs are not refundable. Customers are unable to exchange an unwanted item.
